  1. This is not an easy book to read, but then Stuart’s life isn’t easy either. But we get the chance to understand it, as he understands it – and because of that, we empathise with him and with other people who’s lives have gone in this direction through no initial fault of their own. As Lisa says, “People don’t just wake up homeless.” and it could so easily be any of us.
